Travel is less about collecting as many places as possible and more about seeing things from another angle. Often it is the smaller differences in everyday life, organisation and atmosphere that stand out the most.
Alongside France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Madeira, the United Kingdom matters here in a more personal way as well, since I was born in Carmarthen in South Wales and still have family in Wales, Scotland and England.
