A rainy day in Paris

If Louvre and Versailles are already done and the weather turns grey, Paris often shows a calmer and in some ways even more pleasant side. The city works not only through famous monuments, but also through museums, arcades, markets, neighbourhoods and good interior spaces.

Ideas for a gentler day

The Centre Pompidou is a strong rainy-day option, especially because of its architecture and modern art. For many people the Musée d’Orsay feels more approachable than the Louvre on a grey day. And if technology and invention matter more than paintings, the Musée des Arts et Métiers is an excellent alternative.
